Hobb's Hole Golf Course - Email
The Hobb's Hole Golf Course is shaped to provide the region with a pleasurable golfing experience. The par 71 daily fee course plays from a championship length of 6,607 yards. The "middle" course, with two tees, measures 5,666 to 6207 yards, and is directed to the 8 to 24 handicapper. The "short" course is 4,896 yards, with a par of 72. Every effort has been made to match the players handicap with the correct tee to ensure satisfaction and speed of play.

Hobbs Hole Golf Course Where possible, the course was woven into the natural landscape, and where left with open terrain, the course features were cut down into the soil to minimize impact on the existing contours. The result is a stimulating collection of golfing experience. From the meandering fairways cut into the sandy loam; from the marsh-side green sites to the tributaries of the Rappahannock River; the course is both challenging and rewarding. The course is not designed as a resort facility, but, rather as a community course to play over and over again, making play enjoyable for golfers of all levels.

The practice facility allows the avid golfer to sharpen the whole game, with a 10,000 square foot practice green that recreates the contouring and speed found on the golf course. Nearby, the 15,000 square foot practice tee offers 20 positions, chipping green and practice bunker.

The newly opened facilities include the Pro Shop accomodating resident golf Professional Troy Thorne (804-443-4500).

The Hobb's Hole Golf Community is a low density, well planned development offering single-family and golf villa units bordering a beautifully maintained golf course, and overlooking pristine wetlands. For more information on the Hobb's Hole community, please contact 804-443-2366.
