The department also tests private well and septic systems and has programs in rabies control and restaurant inspections. For those responsible for the safety and care of an elderly or disabled loved one, Bay Aging provides a care service from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday. Located behind Carson's Flooring and across from Wal-Mart, Bay Aging is partly funded by The Community Foundation.
