Be a Trash Trooper and help clean Essex County! From October 16 - November 19th, be part of the Clean Essex Project campaign and take pride in your community! Fill bags, count them, take a photo; then take to the local dump. Your photo of the trash bags your group collected is to compete for CASH! Your group will donate the prize money to a community organization such as the fire department, rescue squad, church, boy scouts, girl scouts, etc.

Earn up to $500 for your favorite Essex County community organization. Perfect for Neighborhoods, Businesses, and Nonprofits. (Youth clubs, schools, churches, athletic associations, etc).

Applications can be found at www.essexcountyrec.com. Collection begins on October 16th.

 

Winners will be announced at 11:00 a.m. on November 20, 2021 at the Tappahannock Farmer’s Market, located on Prince Street

 

Pick up your Clean-up Kit at the Essex County Parks and Recreation Office at 304 Queen Street.
