Request for Proposals General Reassessment Services

SUMMARY: The County of Essex ("County") is soliciting Proposals for performing General Reassessment services for its Board of Supervisors. The County is seeking to retain a firm or firms to perform a general assessment of real property in the County. Pursuant to Sec 2.2-4304, the County seeks proposals for mass appraisal services for its next reassessment by way of a procurement agreement. Uniformity of process is sought.

This procurement is a cooperative procurement being conducted on behalf of other public bodies, as provided in Virginia Code § 2.2-4304(B).

Any offers that are submitted by e-mail, phone, or facsimile shall not be considered. Any offers received after the deadline shall be deemed non-responsive and returned unopened. It is the Offeror’s sole responsibility to insure all information; including addendums are complete and delivered on time. The County reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities. If the County closes its offices due to inclement weather scheduled receipt of bids will be extended to the next business day, same time.
